Rivalo and its hosting or infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as IP addresses, browser information, requests, logs, and error information.

The exact technical information collected may depend on the infrastructure and services used by Rivalo.

2. How We Use Information

3. How Rivalo's Monitoring Works

When you submit a product URL for monitoring, Rivalo may automatically request and analyze information available from that webpage.

The retrieved information may be processed to identify information such as product names, prices, and stock or availability status.

Third-party websites can change their structure, content, or technical behavior. As a result, automated monitoring may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable results.

4. Email Notifications

If you enable email notifications, Rivalo may send emails containing information about changes detected for products you are monitoring.

Rivalo may also send necessary transactional emails, including email-verification messages.

You can disable optional monitoring notifications through your account settings.

5. Service Providers

Rivalo may use third-party providers to operate the Service, including providers for:

  • application hosting;
  • database infrastructure;
  • email delivery;
  • security and infrastructure; and
  • other services necessary to operate Rivalo.

These providers may process information on Rivalo's behalf as necessary to provide their services.

6. Data Retention

Rivalo retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements.

Account and monitoring information may remain stored while your account is active.

When you delete your account, Rivalo will delete or anonymize associated information within a reasonable period, except where certain information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account using the available account functionality or by contacting Rivalo.

Deleting your account may remove information associated with your account, including competitors, tracked products, monitoring history, and alerts, subject to the retention exceptions described above.

8. Data Security

Rivalo uses reasonable measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Rivalo may use cookies or similar technologies required for the Service to function, including cookies used to maintain authenticated sessions.

If Rivalo introduces analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy may be updated to describe their use where required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Rivalo does not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

If you believe that personal information has been provided to Rivalo in circumstances where it should not have been collected, contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

Rivalo's service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country in which you live.

Where applicable, Rivalo will take reasonable steps required by applicable law when transferring personal information internationally.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request a copy of certain information; and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

The availability of these rights depends on applicable law.
